À l’occasion de sa saison anniversaire, l’Opéra national de Paris invite des illustrateurs à réinventer les affiches de ses spectacles et à donner leur interprétation d’une œuvre.
J’ai choisi Il Primo Omicidio, un opéra composé par Alessandro Scarlatti en 1707.
C’est un oratorio dont il explore la dimension métaphysique, interrogeant la part du Mal dans le projet divin.
Caïn est un personnage du Livre de la Genèse. Selon le texte, fils aîné d'Adam et Ève, il tue son frère cadet Abel. Caïn est ainsi le premier meurtrier de l'humanité, que Dieu condamne ensuite à l'exil.

On the occasion of its anniversary season, the Opéra national de Paris invites illustrators to interpret its shows. I chose Il Primo Omicidio, an opera composed by Alessandro Scarlatti in 1707.
